FINANCING

Funding
The foundation’s revenue comes from private individuals, companies, organizations, thrift (second-hand) stores and congregations. Our private DONORS are an important part of our financing and are very important for long-term planning. We are part of the 90-account and are controlled by Swedish fundraiser. This means that at least 75% of the funds raised are purpose-oriented and a maximum of 25% may go to administration.

Why is New Life Mission a member of Safe Giving “Giva Sverige”?
It is a very important mission to secure ethical, transparent and professional collection of gifts. We are members to strengthen quality and governance in the collection work. We get help with tools for ethical collection, internal control and control, accounting and impact reporting. We follow a quality code for the industry. We can also participate in education and advocacy.

HISTORY

New Life mission was founded in 1978 by missionaries Bengt and Eila Sundh from Sweden. Whose original goal and calling was to reach out with the Christian message to Africa. Through visits to the prisons, among other things, many social projects such as orphanages, food programs, vocational schools and more were developed. The organization has grown into an NGO in Kenya with two main stations that run large social efforts and congregational activities.
